Meet the chef

Meet Chef Kelsy Peabody

The chef and owner behind Mill Street Bistro's "fancy comfort" food — a down-to-earth, farm-to-table bistro in the heart of Bayfield.

Fancy comfort food, from a chef who loves the West

Kelsy trained in Colorado, cooked alongside her family in Michigan, and came back West for good. Today she serves her trademark "fancy comfort" food to the lucky folks of Southwest Colorado — with a new menu every week.

When she's not in the kitchen, you'll find her playing hockey, mountain biking, skiing, fly fishing, and mostly enjoying friends and family.
